St. Scholastica has a large number of students majoring in the biological sciences. A number of these students, thanks to the support of eager faculty members, first came together in 2007 to form a community of biology-loving students. Their goal was to share in fun-filled learning through biology-related projects that benefit both the College and the surrounding communities.
The mission of the biology club is to unite students who share a common interest in the biological sciences and to develop an integrated community that nurtures the mutual respect of the biological phenomena of the world in which we live.
- Organize community service acts.
- Present learning opportunities to club members.
- Create social events for members to interact with one another.
- Immerse members in the biological community and create a network of students and active people who engage themselves in the biological sciences.
