CJL

The CJL is dedicated to promoting student involvement in service learning and volunteer programs. Through the various clubs under the Just Living Coalition, the CJL seeks to increase student awareness and participation in issues regarding justice.

Prominent events organized by the CJL include Community Day, School of the Americas Watch as well as several service/volunteer trips throughout the year.

The CJL is student led. We have work-study students who help coordinate CJL programs throughout the year.

The CJL is also a place for meetings, activities and discussions.

Mission:
The Center for Just Living at the College of St. Scholastica seeks to deepen the experiences that students

have, emphasize social change and community service, and increase the number of students involved

in dialogue about living justly in the world.  It stands ready to promote social justice and personal

transformation through experiential learning and meaningful reflection.
