Mission Statement

Our mission is to educate, interact and to create a support network for students of color on CSS campus as well as building relationships with those ethnic groups that are underrepresented in the Duluth Community. By creating an atmosphere that embraces but is not limited to race, age, class, gender, sexual orientation, physical abilities/qualities, and ethnicities according to the Diversity Statement of CSS.

Purpose

To promote diversity through various activities throughout the CSS campus and Duluth Community such as:

* Diversity Panel Discussions to raise awareness of various cultures to create a student centered group, on diversity issues, on campus.
* Dances that promote Diversity on CSS campus.

Multicultural Events that represent a multitude of cultures on CSS campus:

* Leadership Conferences
* Speakers
* Cultural Concerts
* Co-partnerships with local colleges, etc.
* Social Events

Outreach Services available:

* Tutoring
* Community Service
* Leadership Opportunities
* Diversity Training in cooperation with District #709.
