What is the Student Alumni Association (SAA)?
SAA is a Duluth Campus club that provides a link between St. Scholastica
students and alumni. Our mission is to create a community between these
two groups by sponsoring on-campus events, networking opportunities, and
promoting alumni giving. It also fosters a link between the student body and
the St. Scholastica Alumni Association Board of
Directors.

What types of activities does SAA offer?
Talent Show
Each fall semester, SAA sponsors a talent show, giving
away cash and prizes. The show takes place in the Mitchell Auditorium and is
a popular Family Weekend event. The event is run by SAA
members and alumni volunteers.

official start of the Christmas season on campus. The evening event, which is
attended by a few hundred students, alumni, and Duluth neighbors,

Career
Network
SAA members encourage students to utilize the CSS Career
Network. The Network is made up of alumni who are willing to assist students
in their career search. Alumni are valuable resources of information for
students who are pursuing their first entry-level professional position. The
Network is designed to provide you with helpful contacts to assist you as you
develop your career goals and search for your first professional position.
Looking for
information on specific careers?
Looking for a
contact in a specific city or state?

How do I become a member?
Everyone is
encouraged to sign up for SAA. Some qualities SAA seeks in membership include
demonstration of leadership potential, spirit, service, and dedication.
Members of this organization are required to work with one of the activities
and to participate in all of the meetings. This is a great way to meet
peers and faculty members!
